The old master of the Zhu Family and Yun Fu's maternal grandfather. He is usually dignified and stern but becomes emotional on his daughter's memorial day, weeping for his deceased daughter Qinghan. He keeps Qinghan's former room exactly as she left it and cleans it daily. He proposed the Four-Part Land System and served the Founding Emperor. He has at least two sons, including Zhu Qingming. He softens toward the cat (Yun Fu) due to her resemblance to his daughter.
