A newly hatched baby pink dragon, only a few days old. He has pink crystal-like eyes, not-yet-fully-grown wings, a short stubby tail, and small not-yet-fully-formed dragon horns. His scales have developed a thin protective layer, cool and smooth to the touch. He has tiny sharp claws and barely visible sharp teeth. Zhou'er suffers from hatchling attachment syndrome, making him particularly clingy toward Morrison. He is chatty, expressive, and emotionally vivid. Despite being a dragon—an apex predator species—he is still a baby and shows fear and vulnerability. He was previously abandoned and experienced starvation, which left him traumatized. He has inherited memories and knew his name from birth. He is picky about food, preferring fresh meat over dried or canned goods. He has excellent vision, able to see clearly in near-total darkness.
