Also called Yun Niang. A widowed daughter-in-law in her twenties in the Qu family. She is young, strong, decent-looking, gentle in temperament, and skilled at housework and farming. She married into the Qu family at fourteen and has handled all work even while pregnant. She helped care for Erlang, including cooking medicine, feeding him, and helping him relieve himself. She wants a live-in husband rather than remarrying elsewhere, as she cannot abandon her children and elderly mother-in-law.
