Zhou Ya is a young man in his twenties, described as pampered and arrogant, wearing combat gear but lacking soldierly efficiency. He is the nephew of the base's Energy Department Director, a fact boasted by his lackeys. He leads a group of followers who intimidate others in the cafeteria. He dismisses the main group as 'rootless amateurs' who got lucky taking down an empty Ark outpost. When provoked by Tang Leyan's 'Zhou Black Duck' remark, he orders his lackeys to attack them. However, he is quickly overpowered by Mu Mu's psychic threat and Xu Youyou's abilities, leading to his humiliating escape with his trousers down. His face cycles through pale, red, and purplish-brown colors as he flees.
