A middle-aged woman, Ling Yao's mother. She has a warm but deep voice and her face shows worry and fatigue. She initially objected to Ling Yao helping Ruan Xi, fearing trouble, but still took Ruan Xi in. She and her family were sent to Fengming Mountain to accompany Ling Zhiyuan during his reformation. She rarely interacts with villagers.
