A young doctor who was brought from Lianxi Town to examine Song Tingzhu. Despite his youth, he learned properly from his master and had ventured to the prefectural city. He initially diagnosed Song Tingzhu as poisoned with a slow-acting toxin, but later changed his diagnosis to avoid trouble and prescribed a nourishing remedy instead.
