Also known as Madam Zhou, the youngest daughter of the Zhou family from Youzhou. She is sixteen years old and was conferred the title of Ruren by the Empress Dowager. She is described as pretty but not breathtakingly beautiful, with an immature temperament. She is homesick and reminded of her eldest sister by Ming Yunzhi. She was sent to the palace without her family's apparent enthusiasm.
