An elderly male professor and patient admitted to the Emergency Intensive Care Unit (EICU). He suffers from acute myocardial infarction and ventricular fibrillation. He is married to Professor Zheng. He pleads not to be saved as he feels he is about to leave this world. Despite resuscitation efforts, his pupils remain dilated, and he eventually passes away after his wife decides to withdraw treatment.
