Mother-in-law of Zhenzhen, widow who raised three children alone. She is the matriarch of the Shi family. She has been thinking about finding a matchmaker to help Zhenzhen remarry, believing Huaiming is dead and not wanting Zhenzhen to spend the rest of her life as a widow.
