Male, Zhong Yizhu's father. He married into the Wu family (a neighboring village) when the Zhong family was poor. He misappropriated all the money and land benefits that were meant as repayment to the village for their kindness during the family's hardship. The Wu family managed the family's thirty mu of paddy fields on his behalf.
