Also called Ah Ye, he is the young grandson of Daoist Zhi Hui. He plays with a bamboo dragonfly and a nine-linked puzzle in the courtyard. He is captured and threatened by Gu Xun with a dagger but refuses to initially reveal information about the powder. He is described as pale and trembling with fear.
