A Langzhong (official) in the Ministry of Rites, approximately 40 years old, described as mediocre-looking with small eyes, a rounded nose, and greying temples. He is Madam Li's younger brother and the widower being considered as a match for Yu Yihe. He has considerable family wealth, one son and one daughter, and attempts to bribe Yu Yihe with promises of wealth and property.
