Female supporting character, Lin Zhiyue's mother and Lin Zhishu's second aunt. She is the wife of Lin Yan, a xiucai scholar. She was severely mistreated by her own Zhao family during the refugee journey—starved, forced to dig wild vegetables, and nearly sold to Wang Mazi. She became numb to the cruelty after days of suffering. Two years ago, her daughter Yueyue had apparently come back once before, smiling and calling her Mama. She fainted upon reuniting with her daughter.
