Village head of Taoli Village and father of Zhao Pingwei. He is composed and unhurried in demeanor but inwardly displeased with Lin Xi's family for ignoring him. He comes to Lin Xi's house demanding to see her special rice husking tool, claiming it would benefit the whole village.
