Also referred to as Zhao Hongyi, a student at Bimo Academy who is a year older than Xiao Yi. He relied on his Zhao family name to act arrogantly and privately cursed his teacher. He incited Ma Jie to assault Xiao Yi and threatened him into lying. He was punished with thirty strikes of the ruler by Teacher Li and later apologized to Xiao Yi.
