The former Prince of Dingbei and Zhao Jingyuan's father. He was the Emperor's half-brother from the same father. He entered the Northern Frontier army camp at eighteen and was severely injured during assassination attempts five years ago when summoned back to the capital. He died from his injuries and decreed that Zhao Jingyuan should inherit the title.
