Male supporting character, a childhood friend of Xu Ruyi. He is nearly six feet tall with a muscular, robust physique and a rugged tough-guy aura. His father is Zhao Dadan, a hunter in the village. As a child he was chubby and played house with Xu Ruyi, earning the nickname Xiao Xiaopang. He has saved silver over the years hoping to help Xu Ruyi redeem herself. He is clearly interested in Xu Ruyi romantically and gets flustered around her.
