A male taxi driver and the husband of Zhou Jieli. He is the prime suspect in his wife's murder. He was disheveled with unshaven beard and messy hair when questioned. He drinks heavily, with numerous empty beer bottles found in his messy home. He once ran a financial company in the 1990s that went bankrupt after an employee died of a heart attack and paperwork irregularities were discovered. He and Zhou Jieli had a deteriorating relationship and started living separately earlier that year after he forcibly dragged her into his car at school.
