Head of the Imperial Kitchen for three years, supposed to retire but couldn't bear to leave. The Imperial Kitchen is now under the Emperor's control. He is known for his cooking, especially Buddha Jumps Over the Wall soup which he made at his own expense to honor Noble Consort Jin. He has an apprentice named Zhao Xiaohai whom he considers blockheaded.
