A neighbor and father in the Zhang family. He is generally patient with his son Zhang Hao but has limits. He reminisces about his difficult childhood compared to his son's privileged life. He wanted to ask for some of the delicious braised pork ribs smell but was stopped by his wife Hu Li. He cracked first and pleaded with his wife to get food for their son.
