The older male youth at the North Wind Brigade who came in 1961 and is practically part of the village now. He is in charge of the youth point and manages the new arrivals. He learns carpentry from a villager in the mornings. He is described as having murky eyes and being steady and authoritative. He helped accommodate the new educated youths and collect rations.
