Also called Tiegen'er, he is Zhang Hongzhuang's eldest son and Old Madam Su's nephew. He is antagonistic toward the Su family, calling them leeches and objecting to taking them in. He is disrespectful to his aunt, refusing to apologize even when his father scolds him. He sides with his mother Zhang Lishi against his father's wishes.
