A thin boy of about six or seven years old, son of the deaf-mute peddler. He knows sign language and acts as an interpreter between his father and Su Lele. He is well-raised and polite, refusing milk tea initially because his father taught him not to accept rewards without merit. He thanks Su Lele warmly when she agrees to help his family.
