The mother of Li Mumian and Li Jiaojiao. She is scheming and manipulative, orchestrating the plan to have Li Mumian marry Lu Tingbai in place of her favored daughter Li Jiaojiao. She deliberately applied clownish makeup on Li Mumian to make her look ridiculous. She feigned innocence and wailed loudly when Lu Tingbai confronted her, accusing him of bullying widows and orphans. She claimed she only did it out of pity for Jiaojiao.
