The town school principal's son and An Xin's supposed former lover in the original story. He was meant to be her partner in the staged scandal but was replaced by Bai Yichen. He burst into the room emotional and distraught, claiming An Xin promised to marry him after he graduated from university. An Xin internally dismisses him as a weepy little puppy and tells him she only sees him as a brother.
