The third in the Zhang clan and uncle of Zhang Yongchun. He is conspiratorial with his brother Zhang Desheng and dismisses concerns about the Yin family's retaliation, calling them outsiders without foundation. He advises his nephew to find another wife instead of pursuing a married woman.
