Female minor character, Zai Ye's biological mother. She has severe depression and lived with Zai Ye abroad for two years after their divorce, but was unable to care for him properly. Zai Ye developed mild autistic tendencies from the situation. She eventually remarried and settled abroad, rarely returning due to poor health. The last time Zai Ye saw her was during a video call that ended quickly because her current child was making a fuss. Zai Ye can barely remember what she looks like anymore.
