She was the eldest daughter of the Yun family who mastered the Three Character Classic by age three, memorized the Four Books and Five Classics by five, passed the Xiucai exam at nine, became a Juren at fifteen, and ranked first in the Metropolitan Exam at eighteen. She died during the Xi Rui Grace Examination Scandal and was betrayed by her husband Shen Moyuan who framed her for cheating.
