The younger of two children rescued by Yun Shuyue in Rong County. Yun Shuyue gave him this new name, wishing him freedom from calamity. He was carefree and called out to Jiang Chengyuan as Uncle. He burst into tears when told he must call Jiang Chengyuan brother-in-law, and was carried by Chun Liu during the journey.
