The substitute character in the novel's plot. He resembled the white moonlight and was coerced by Xiao Yongmu into a kept relationship. After the breakup, he wanted his things returned from Xiao Yongmu's residence. He appeared outside the banquet venue on his own accord, standing alone in the garden corner leaning against the fence, observing Su Nian calmly and comparing. He had prepared many possible responses in case he ran into Xiao Yongmu, including ignoring them, scolding him, or throwing wine at him.
