A Class A student at Qingyuan Academy, one of only two students who already hold the scholarly title of tongsheng. He is seventeen or eighteen years old with a refined, scholarly face. He is calm and composed, and many students admire him. He dismissed the conflict in the dining hall as trivial, though his words indirectly criticized Mao Badou and Xue Tingrang.
