The most famous commander of the Jishi Bureau during the Yinghe period. He had outstanding martial skills, a handsome scholarly appearance, and was merciless in action. He wore a four-winged ming-snake robe. After Li Yuanshen ascended the throne, he led a hundred cavalry to suppress Wokou pirates, clearing thirty thousand enemies in three days and nights. Only forty-nine survived, and Yu Wushuang was severely injured, affecting his ability to have heirs. He became a romantic ideal for many young girls despite being partially disabled.
