Marquis Chengan, father of Yu Jiaojiao and Yu Jingjing. He is biased toward his concubine's daughter and initially accuses Yu Jiaojiao of mistreating Yu Jingjing. He is quick to anger and attempts to use family law against Yu Jiaojiao before Jiang Xingyan intervenes.
