An outer disciple of the Tianxuan Sect who serves as a gatekeeper. He attempted to send a message via jade slip when Lu Qingwu and Ming Jinghui arrived but was interrupted by a burst of spiritual power. He was arrogant toward disciples from smaller sects but became anxious and fearful when Zhu Huacan sent the two into the Forest of Ten Thousand Tribulations, knowing he would be made a scapegoat.
