A slightly plump young man of about seventeen or eighteen years old, dressed in a gray robe embroidered with golden thread patterns and wearing several gemstone rings. He is the young master of the Mao Trading Company, one of the largest trading houses in Xia County. This is his first assignment outside the family, and he has taken a liking to a small hill behind Yuqing Village.
