A medicinal herb merchant from Suzhou in the Northwest, male. He is the head of the Jin Family, described as the largest herb merchant in Suzhou. He came to the capital to visit his gravely ill elder sister who married into the Zhou Imperial Physician's family. He appears to be a profligate who indulges in wine, women, and gambling, but Ji Yunshu finds his behavior suspicious. He initially approached Ji Yunshu's medical clinic for business but breached the contract the next day.
