He is dressed in black martial outfit with an exotic, otherworldly look. He is the closed-door disciple of Zhan Zhang, sect leader of Wugou Sect, and a powerful demon hunter (Heavenly Master). He carries a whip and has a crimson curse tattoo on his fingertips. He is tasked with finding the Kunlun Jade Demon Xiang Yu and delivering an old friend's heirloom. He is sharp-tongued but shows a protective side toward Zhu Zhaozhao as Pangui's fiancée.
