Female, formerly known as Zhou Xiaoju, a 16-year-old girl who became Jiang Nian's apprentice. Her mother was forced to death, and her father Zhou Shugen sold her. She renamed herself Ye Zhiqiu at Jiang Nian's suggestion, meaning freedom. She works at a cooperative alongside Jiang Nian and is learning medicine and other skills. She is grateful to Jiang Nian for saving her and is undergoing physical treatment to correct long-term bodily damage.
