A former high school classmate of the original owner. Her father loved drinking, so he named her Jiu (meaning alcohol). She used to walk to and from school with the original owner in the town. After graduation, the original owner went to a university in the provincial capital while Yao Jiu stayed to attend a local college. She picks up Lin You in a tricycle upon her arrival in Fangping Town.
