Supporting character. Also known as Old Master Yang. An elderly man with white hair, he is the principal of Haicheng Academy of Fine Arts. He wrote the recommendation letter that gave Lin Su her opportunity. He offered Lin Su direct admission to study oil painting at the academy and even suggested recommending her for studies in Beijing or Shanghai, with the condition that she return to Haicheng as a lecturer after graduation. He is calm, composed, and dedicated to the school with no selfish motives. He is a family friend of Qin Zhoucheng.
