A subordinate of General Ning Yuan, the figure in black whom Xu Lianqiao had seen earlier. He is the one who reports to Ning Yuan about the crying child and later delivers the letter about Li Ming's arrival. He is curious about Ning Yuan's relationship with his fiancée and asks personal questions. Ning Yuan considers himself too kind to his subordinates since Yang Pingwei came to him personally instead of sending someone else.
