Ning Rushen's loyal steward and servant. He drives the carriage, assembles household staff, and carries out Ning Rushen's orders. He was the first to insult Ning Rushen for ten taels, calling him a starving ghost reborn. He also turns away visiting ministers on Ning Rushen's behalf.
