Gu Yuzhu's cousin, the son of Yan Fengru's family. He is well-behaved and obedient, described as being brought up properly. He accompanied Gu Yuzhu and the other children to play near the riverbank. He has a good relationship with Gu Yuzhu and helped shield her during the duck egg incident.
