Also known as Xun Lao'er, he is an eel collector who dominates the eel business in Dawang Township. His real name is Xun Li though few use it. He collects eels from four villages in Dawang Township every three days, gathering up to 800-900 pounds each time. He has a mother suffering from rheumatism whom Jiang Ruan treats with medicinal baths. He once went to prison and had a past relationship with Cheng Chunying. He reported illegal trading by his former business partner in 1976, which led to his house being taken over by his uncle.
