Supporting character. Qi Donghan's roommate and a political instructor at the base. Usually refined and elegant but could be very chatty and teasing. He joked about Qi Donghan dressing up to attract a female comrade's attention and teased him about Qi Changming's childhood sweetheart (Meng Yingying). He warned Qi Donghan about the rule of not coveting a friend's wife. Qi Donghan sternly told him to show respect and not spread negative rumors about Comrade Meng Yingying.
