The wife of Xu Laosan and aunt to Xu Huaining. She dotes on Xu Huaining as if he were her own son, even willing to starve her own daughters to feed him. She manipulates situations to favor Huaining, urging him to add more soil to the graves for blessings while subtly disparaging the absent Xu Jinnian.
