Male supporting character. He is Xu Lianqiao's biological father who abandoned his wife and daughter over ten years ago and later became a monk dressed in white cassock holding Buddhist beads. He is resentful toward Mrs. Wei for disowning Lianqiao after remarrying. During the confrontation, he nearly slapped Mrs. Wei but was stopped by Ning Yuan.
