Male protagonist. A weary, overworked programmer burdened with crippling family debt. He goes on blind dates and meets his childhood friend Yao Mingyue, who proposes marriage with lavish offers. After marrying her, he becomes trapped in a suffocating, possessive relationship where she isolates him from friends and family, controls every aspect of his life, and locks him in their villa. He attempts to divorce her but is drugged. He dies saving Yao Mingyue from a truck accident on an icy road, then reincarnates back to his high school days, retaining memories of his past life.
