Son of Li Jiye and Zhou Xiaoniang. Described as diligent in his studies but was refused admission to the Yuan family academy. His poor study habits were pointed out by the Yuan family. He is raised primarily by Mrs. Qin and is sometimes disturbed by his birth mother Zhou Xiaoniang.
