A loyal guard who has protected Zhong Yanshuang since childhood. He is skilled in combat, having slaughtered over a dozen rebels during their escape. He is devoted to the princess, swearing he would die before her. During the escape, he was exhausted and pale, carrying the princess who had twisted her ankle. He jumped after her when she leapt from the city wall, catching her mid-fall and shielding her with his body before they crashed into the sea. He carried an ornate dagger gifted by Yanshuang and a long sword (which was lost in the water). He woke on the shore, alert and dangerous, but relaxed upon confirming the princess was safe.
